Cancelling an appointment
Please allow at least one day’s notice when cancelling an appointment and call us during office hours. This will allow us to offer your appointment time to patients on our waiting list.
We recognise that your time is valuable, and we make every effort to run on time. Occasional emergencies or patients requiring a little more time cause scheduling delays beyond our control. We apologise if we keep you waiting.
What to bring to your first appointment
Please be sure to bring the following with you to your appointment:
- Medicare card
- Private Health Fund insurance information, if you have insurance
- Drivers License or Photo ID
- Referral, if it is your first appointment
- Relevant pathology and radiology that has been done on this occasion or previously.
Payment methods
We accept: Cash, Cheque, EFTPOS (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Debit Cards)
Please note, if paying with Credit Card, surcharge of 3% for AMEX, and 1.5% for VISA and Master Card will apply.
If you are paying with cash, please note that we do not keep cash on the premises, the exact payment is appreciated.
As a courtesy to our patients in financial hardships, or those undertaking large procedures we offer a payment plan, which is worked out individually.
MacCredit, Australia’s Premier Patient Financing Service Provider, tel: 1300 884 355, is a reliable source of financing services that provides flexible payment plans.
For pensioners, upon presentation of pension card, we provide a no gap service for consultations.
Please note, that for all cosmetic procedures a full fee pre payment is required one week prior to the procedure.
Parking
Potts Point
We are located at Hemsley House, St Luke’s Clinic 20 Roslyn Street, Potts Point NSW 2011.
The clinic is quick and easy to get to by car. It’s just a few minutes from Sydney’s CBD and eastern suburbs, with freeway access to the southern, western and northern suburbs. Limited patient and visitor car parking is available on our grounds, with plenty more available at a nearby public parking stations.
Wilson Parking’s Kings Cross Parking Station is in Ward Avenue at the corner of Amos Lane. It offers special rates to St Luke’s patients and visitors who have their parking ticket validated at Hospital reception at normal business hours. The current special rate offered is $15 per day. The discount does not apply to overnight/24 hour parking.
Bella Vista
We are located at Suite G5B, Norwest Private Hospital Medical Centre, 9 Norbrik Drive Bella Vista NSW 2153.
Ample parking is available in the car park located at the basement level of the hospital.
Bowral
We are located at Southern Highlands Private Hospital,99 Bowral Street, Bowral NSW 2576.
The rooms are located in the Cancer Centre which is located on the ground floor (main entrance level to the hospital, facing Bowral Street). Please go through the main reception, directly down a corridor from Main Reception (through a set of automatic glass doors), follow around to your left and Oncology reception is there.
Rozelle
We are located at Sydney Specialist Suites on Darling St, near the intersection with Victoria Rd and Darling St, next to the Darling St Anglican Church. If you are coming by bus, bus routes stop along Victoria Rd.
There is metered parking available on Darling St and National St however free parking is available in Rozelle on Merton St and Hamilton St.
Camperdown
We are located at The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse on Missenden Road, between Parramatta Road, Camperdown, and King Street, Newtown. If you’re dropping someone off, there is a patient drop off zone at the front entrance. Please don’t leave your car unattended. If you’re looking for somewhere to park, you have a few options:
The most convenient place to park is in the Lifehouse car park. Enter via Salisbury Road and turn left into Susan Street (the entry to the car park is clearly signposted). There is direct entry into lifts that can take you to all floors of the Lifehouse building from this car park. Parking is $5 per hour capped at $25 for patients for any appointment within the Lifehouse facility. Please note, because we need to keep these parking spaces free for patients, the cost is $10 per hour (no cap) for visitors including ward visitors.
King George V car park – Enter via Missenden Road, past the front door of Lifehouse. Parking is $5 an hour, capped at $25 per day.
Multi-storey Grose St carpark – Enter from Carillon Ave, $5 per hour capped at $20 per day. Currently, this carpark has the most spare spaces.
You can also look for metered or un-metered parking in surrounding residential streets but remember that these may have time restrictions.
Public Transport
Potts Point
St Luke’s Clinic is easily accessible by public transport with regular bus services and the Eastern Suburbs Railway’s Kings Cross station nearby.
Bella Vista
A bus stop is located at the front entrance of the Norwest Private hospital and is serviced by Route T64 between Parramatta, Bella Vista and Rouse Hill.

Bowral
Bowral is serviced by Cityrail’s Southern Highlands line as well as by two Countrylink services. The Bowral railway station is a 10-minute walk from the Bowral rooms. Berrima Buslines operate bus services within the Southern Highlands.
Camperdown
Travelling by train
If you live on a train line, you might prefer to come to Lifehouse by train. The nearest station is Newtown Station . It’s about a 15 minute walk between Lifehouse and the station. Otherwise, Lifehouse offers a free shuttle bus for patients to and from Central Station every half an hour. Click for the Timetable
Travelling by bus
It’s easy to get to Lifehouse using public buses. For detailed information about timetables, fares and bus stop locations, go to www.sydneybuses.info or call 131 500.
Bus route 412 stops outside the main entrance of Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, directly opposite Lifehouse. The 412 starts at King Street Wharf and travels down George Street and Parramatta Road before turning into Missenden Road where Lifehouse is located. It then travels on through the suburbs of Camperdown, Petersham, Marrickville, Dulwich Hill, Earlwood and Clemton Park before finishing its run at Campsie Station.
Also check bus routes that run along Parramatta Road or Missenden Road including: 436, 438,439, 440, 422, 423, 426 and 428.
Bus routes 436, 438, 439 and 440 run from Circular Quay up Parramatta Road before travelling on to Chiswick, Abbotsford, Mortlake and Rozelle.
